Amazing Black Sea Beaches
The ancient Black Sea is an almost landlocked lake but it connects to the Aegean and the Mediterranean Seas by way of the Bosphorus and the Dardanelle straits in Turkey. Some of the beaches are beautiful and provide the only beaches to certain countries like Romania, Bulgaria, Georgia, and Ukraine. The waters are clear and almost sweet. Rosh Hanikra on the Israel Lebanon Border
Rosh Hanikra is located on the Israel Lebanon border, on the northwestern corner of Israel. This is an unusual geographical site where the Mediterranean hits the cliffs. From these white chalk cliffs you have a panoramic view of Haifa and the hills of the Galilee. Chagall Windows at the Synagogue of the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem
When visiting Israel be sure to allow some time to visit the Synagogue at the Hadassah Medical Center in Ein Karem. The beauty of the Chagall Windows, the light they emanate and the perfection of Chagall's work will be found at the site.
